The Sunshine Club is a non-sexual support organization that was founded in the Connecticut River Valley of Western
Massachusett in 1991 to support, and provide knowledgeable education and information about, the transgendered community. If
you consider yourself a crossdresser, transvestite, transsexual, or other type of gender bender, we welcome you to our
website. We welcome all individuals who consider themselves transgender, individuals and groups of people that are involved
with or are interested in the transgendered person and the Transgendered Community. We hope that our website will serve as
a resource for those individuals who are interested in gaining a better understanding of us by becoming educated about the
Transgendered Community and for helping those individuals who are questioning about their own gender identities. The Sunshine
Club membership is dedicated to helping individuals overcome the isolation, guilt, shame and prejudice as a result of being
transgendered, to focus on the many positive aspects of being a transgendered person, to be comfortable with our unique identities
and for providing a socializing outlet for the transgendered person and the Transgendered Community. Our website only contains
important information and links to other resources relevant to individuals in a Transgendered lifestyle.
